User API Keys

Models

Segments

Now users can create their own API keys. At max each user can create 2 keys. To create user keys click on Account.

userkeys

On the Profile page click on the User Keys tab and Generate new key.

userkeys

Authentication of user key and secret is bit different when compared to Admin API keys.

For admin API keys username and password is required to authenticate. Where as for user keys only the secret is enough.

For Admin API keys

url='https://<hostname>/api/v0.4/explore/streamresult/<EXPLORE ID>'

username='API_KEY'
password='API_SECRET'

r=requests.get(url,auth=(username,password))

For User keys

url='https://<hostname>/api/v0.4/explore/streamresult/<EXPLORE ID>'

secret='API_SECRET'

r=requests.get(url,headers = {'Authorization': 'SprinkleUserKeys '+secret})

import requests
