Mixpanel is the most advanced analytics platform for mobile & web. It helps businesses grow by helping them understand how their users behave and use their products by tracking actions people take rather than mere page views.
It collects accurate data, identifies trends, sets goals and hypotheses, and ultimately helps in making actionable business decisions.
Sprinkle supports a wide range of data sources. On clicking the “+sign”, a list of data sources pops up. In this case, Mixpanel is selected. A new Mixpanel is named and created.
After naming the data source, the configure tab would require the user to provide an API secret key and start date from which data needs to be ingested. The credentials can be tested if they are valid or not by testing the connection before updating.
In Add Tables, the type of the table should be selected between preset and custom events. In preset, the user is required to select the table name from the list.
In Custom events, the name of the table should be provided. Set of events i.e. commas separated name of events should also be provided by the user.
In the Run and Schedule tab, the concurrency (number of tables that can run in parallel, a maximum of 7) can be set preferentially before running the job. The status of the job will be updated in the tab below once it’s complete. The jobs can also be set to run automatically by enabling autorun. By default, the frequency is set to every night. Frequency can be changed by clicking on More --> Autorun-->Change Frequency.
