Freshdesk
FreshDesk is a cloud-based customer service software solution that helps businesses with Omnichannel, Bots, and Self-service functionalities.
Sprinkle supports a wide range of data sources. On clicking the “+sign”, a list of data sources pops up. In this case, FreshDesk is selected. A new FreshDesk data source is named and created. Users can sign up on FreshDesk by visiting https://freshdesk.com/signup
Next, for connecting with Sprinkle, users need to enter the API key and Sub-Domain Name. In order to generate the API key the users need to follow the procedures provided here and provide a subdomain as in the example. Example: https://{SUBDOMAIN}.freshdesk.com
Next in the datasets tab, users need to add the report type. All standard reports of FreshDesk can be ingested into Sprinkle.
In the Ingestion Job tab, the concurrency (number of tables that can run in parallel, a maximum of 7) can be set preferentially before running the job. The status of the job will be updated in the tab below once it’s complete. The jobs can also be set to run automatically by enabling autorun. By default, the frequency is set to every night. Frequency can be changed by clicking on More --> Autorun-->Change Frequency.
Please note that the ingestion job will always be a complete ingestion.
